This Bowman Group is for the enjoyment of those who wish to discuss their hobby of collecting and/or steaming Bowman models (including Bowman "relations").

All collectors of Bowman are welcome: live steam, including 0-gauge, stationary engines, Hobbies by Bowman (steam boats), toys by Bowman (Luton), as well as Bowman yachts and other toys manufactured by Bowman including the Wormar range.

We usually have about 5-15 emails a month. You don't even need to log on to Yahoo to read the messages: when joining select to have "individual emails sent" and give a specific email address so you can receive all messages at your usual email address. This group has a moderated joining process, so don't worry about your inbox getting choked with spam!

In addition to providing a forum for discussion of Bowman related material the intention is to provide (over time) the following:

1) A "directory", including photographs of all Bowman models, to help more recent Bowman collectors identify their models
2) Calendar of Bowman events - see below.
3) Links to members' photographs or websites and to Bowman spare parts providers
4) We also have a list of example sales prices for Bowman sales, mainly from eBay (see files section, though this is now quite old)

3) Saturday 3rd Apr (Easter Sat): Steam Toy Rally at the Rural Life Centre, Tilford, Near Farnham. Bring an engine, get in Free!
4) Sat 26th Jun: Alresford Toy Train Show.
5) TBC October: Exeter Garden Railway Show
6) 20th November (TBC): Mr Bowman's Birthday
