BNUG's purpose is to provide a forum for neighbors to collect and exchange information easily in a manner that promotes continued dialog. Our goal is to build community, improve dissemination and transparency of City government, and share information about all neighborhood organizations, businesses and events.

We request the following standard Code of Conduct be honored on the BNUG forum:

* Share who you are and your group affiliation
* Post only topics and engage in dialogs that directly affect our neighborhood and region of the City
* Exchange information about events, activities and actions that affect our neighborhood and region of the City
* Post topics/responses without the use of profanity or attacks
* Express disagreements with courtesy and with respect for the opinions and feelings of others

We understand that people may have opinions and judgments about this information. There are other forums where individuals can express their differences in an anonymous and more colorful manner. However, BNUG requests information be exchanged openly and with a sense of respect so the forum is effective for everyone.
