Hey Mike,
It looks like the Legend Skipper to me. I have both the black hat and
white hat models. It does bother me though that sellers call
them "Bossons" Legend heads as we all know they are two different
companies. I love all of these crazy heads no matter which company
produced them. I collect Bossons, Legends, Naturecraft,
Heritage,Emsley and a couple of unknowns ....a true head hunter.
Birdie
Have posted a picture on the photos page I have this "skipper" figure
with made in England on the base but it does not feel right
I was sold as Bossons Legend Skipper
any thoughts
thanks
Mike
Try this site , of you're not already aware of it it a great source of Bosson
pieces, a crazy Bossons person putting all sorts of information up, and a cfhat
group that runs quite nicely when his server isn't down.
Which I will just send him another message about.
The Database Site is one in a million - every Bossons piece you could think of
and then more are listed solely as the part they are of the Bossons story.
Sometimes you can link from the Database back to the Forum - keep trying, by
then Paul night've got things fixed
Cheers

Subject: [Bossons_Forum] Oops!
Looks like I joined a dying forum. What a shame. Had hoped to find
others here who enjoy collecting and trading Bosson heads etc. instead
of hanging out at EBay all the time trying to make money and inflate
the value of thier collections etc. Oh well, will try to find somewhere
that is a bit more active although so far it seems most people are more
interested in what thier Bossons according to Ebay prices are worth
than in the heads themselves. Too bad as it seems another hobby has
gone way too commecial thus making it more a money making venture than
a hobby.

Hello Lesley,
I am the Bossons Forum moderator and recognize that the "bad apple"
problem is always a tricky one. Currently, I receive an email from
Yahoo Groups each and every time a member subscribes to, or
unsubscribes from the group. When a new member joins, I immediately
visit the forum and monitor the postings. If their intent differs from
an interest in Bossons or Ivorex, I ban the member, ban the subject
matter and delete their posting. That is my attempt to keep the forum
on target with it's subject content. There is however one type of spam
I cannnot prevent. That occurs when a comprised computer auto-sends
spam to members, using addresses randomly selected, who is a member of
the group.
Cheers!
John Cassidy
Could whoever is the Moderator of this exceptionally quiet list please
do the right thing and protect us members from SPAM coming through the
site please.
I don't have a penis, or shares, or a banker in off-shore oil ....
I'm ever hopeful that we might strike up a conversation about Bossons
one day
Thanks
Lesley
