Welcome to the Boone County Freecycle(TM) of Illinois!



The goal of this Freecycle is to reduce waste by connecting individuals who are throwing away goods with others who are seeking them. Whether you're looking to discard or acquire an item this is the place to do it. Furniture, clothing, appliances, computers, and all the little things in between. The only rule is that all items must be FREE.

Before you decide to join please understand NO EMAIL option is not allowed. You must pick between individual email, daily digest or special notice. If you pick No email it will get changed to one of the other email options. So if you don't want email from this group choose special notices or do not join. Thanks :)

Pets are ok just use common sense when offering and wanting them.

Contact/Pick Up. Responses should go directly to the original poster. Offerers choose who gets the item(s) the are giving away- it doesn't have to go to the first emailer. Generally, if a charity responds, you may want to give them a 1st shot.


Also: only give your phone number to one person at a time or ask for the recipient's phone no. Otherwise you'll get swamped with phone calls.
