This discussion group is based upon two books by LDS author Phyllis Carol Olive. "Lost Lands of the Book of Mormon," and "Lost Tribes of the Book of Mormon."

These books are well researched with many quotes from the Book of Mormon favoring a North American setting for where the Nephites lived. The purpose of this discussion group is to further show that a North America setting is accurate, to help give people better insight into the lives of the people who brought us the Book of Mormon.

With Sister Olive's permission I have started this group. I also do my own research based upon personal experience, and revelation that the lands around New York are where the Nephites existed.

Sister Olive may herself share thoughts and research on this list from time to time.

I will not allow a spirit of contention here, and would hope that every researcher comes here with the same spirit that came with them when they read the Book of Mormon, that you apply Moroni's promise to everything. I would also hope that personal attacks or character attacks do not come into debate, for those things are not of spirit.

The Book of Mormon peoples cry from the dust, and in due time all things shall be proven.
