Description

This is a discussion group for people who read and enjoy the subject of Nautical fiction, especially the books by Alexander Kent featuring the life and times of 'Richard Bolitho'. Other authors works are also discussed (Dudley Pope's Ramage, Julian Stockwin's Kydd, C.S. Forester's Hornblower, Richard Woodman's Drinkwater, Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey, and so on.) and their merits debated at length.

The group is specificlly interested in the period from 1776 to 1815, and the naval activities of the period. We enjoy discussions, role play, question answer, and generally talking about this fascinating period in history.

So if you enjoy the sea, ships, and the days of fighting sail, then join us. We would be happy to have you aboard. I remain....... Admiral Sir Robert
