BlindKid-Software is a list to promote discussion of educational software for blind children as well as non-violant computer games playable by blind children. Non-computer games, toys, and educational matterials appropriate for blind children may also be discussed here. A few example types of games could include card games, board games, puzzles, and non-violant adventure games. Educational software could include typing tutors, word processors, spelling, math, history, and so on. It would be helpful if appropriate ages for each product are mentioned to help other teachers and parents decide if it is appropriate for their child. New product announcements, reviews of software, games, and educational matterials etc. are welcome so long as they fit the focus of this list. Suggestions for new products and improvements also very welcome. Respect for other members is required. Fowl language will not be tollerated.
