Welcome to the Bleuette Sewing Club! BSC is for fans of Bleuette, her friends, and family. We challenge each other to sew, knit or crochet historical LSDS patterns plus others, and we enjoy fashion photos, activities, and fellowship. We will not always be historically correct, though--our aim is to have fun with Bleuette!
TODAY'S PHOTO: Featured is Marie's embroidered Summer Dress from a 1910 LSDS pattern. Sylvia made Christelle, the premiere Bleuette shown.
Challenges are an opportunity to create something you might not have tried on your own. Members choose and host the challenge, and we fill a photo album with the results. Sometimes we have a special exchange, or a "just-for-fun" challenge.
CURRENT CHALLENGE: In April and May the challenge is "Bleuette Fashions to Dye For." Your invitation, guidelines, and dyeing hints and helps are in Files, and our leader and host is Suzanne v.
Our ongoing/no-deadline challenge is "Fifties Flair." There are patterns in the Fifties Flair folder in Files, but you are welcome to create anything fifties for this challenge.
PHOTOS: E-mail attachments are fine, or post your photo and a link to it, please. Each member has one personal Photo Album, and there are many group albums.
SALES: Post your For Sale items in a For Sale album (one per person, please), but limit them to Bleuette, friends & family. You may tell us about your items for sale at other sites, too. Members, please try to support our own members when you can--it's a win-win situation.
