Description
This is the Freecycle (TM) group for people who live in Blair County,Pennylvania. Membership applications will be considered from neighboring counties if no FreeCycle group exists in that county.
"At the time you subscribe, PLEASE give your ZIP CODE or COMMUNITY NAME (in the COMMENT TO OWNER box). If you don’t provide this info when joining, your subscription may be denied. Additionally, your subscription may be denied if you do not live in Blair County. If you are not in Blair County and would still like to participate, please provide a reason why you would like to be in the group."
One rule: everything posted must be free. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano, or an old door to be given away, it can be posted on the network. Or, maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself? Respond to the posting directly and you just might get it.
Non-profit organizations also benefit from the Freecycle Network. Post the item or items you want to give away and a local organization can help you get it to someone in need.
There is one constraint, mandated by the Freecycle Organization: Everything posted must be FREE. Keep It Free, Legal Appropriate For All Ages. Those who post messages to the list or privately in violation of the etiquette rules found on the Freecycle.org page will be removed from the group.
