MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Black Watch is to foster a sense of community among all people of the African Diaspora via the internet.

Our mission is to provide a channel of communication to stimulate the intellectual,political,cultural, and social growth of all African Americans.Through enriching dialogue, weekly newsletters, and historical study, we seek to educate ourselves and others, in hopes that awareness will spark action and ignite change in our communities.

In addition, Black Watch shall serve as a resource to all other groups on Yahoo serving those of the African Diaspora.

It is our belief that "Men and Women of ordinary ability become Pillars of Strength when aroused by desire, stimulated by action."
