The Black Goat Cabal is a network of Satanists (and a very few select Pagans and occultists) who reject dogma-based definitions of "Satanism," and who favor raising the public visibility of those forms of Satanism (especially those forms of theistic Satanism, also known as traditional Satanism) which challenge the more popular dogma-based definitions. Our public relations strategies include networking with other religious minorities to oppose Satanic panics and to call public attention to the dangers of the growth of Abrahamic fanaticism. Our membership includes (but is not limited to) people who identify as "Devil worshipers," and we reject the use of the term "Devil worshiper" as a scapegoat category.

The Black Goat Cabal has both a private forum for its members and also Black-Goat, a somewhat more public, semi-private forum which welcomes not just leaders and spokespeople but also other Satanists, Pagans, and occculists who share our goals. Before you apply to join Black-Goat, you must first participate in one or more of our public Theistic Satanism forums for a while.
