Hio Folks,

 

I'm new in this group.  I've got a question for you! 

 

My guardian just bought me a bike with a sidecar.  She wants to know the best way to loosly tether me in the sidecar - after she removes the seat and puts in a dogbed.  She can't find a commercial tether so she plans on making one.

 

She'll put me in a harness and is thinking of using 5 mm "shock cord" to tether the harness to the sidecar.  She'll put a cloth covering over the shock cord so I don't get any "rope burns".

 

Does anyone out there have any experience with tethers in sidecars?

What works?

What doesn't work?
