This is a group especially for Bisexuals and their friends & supporters in the National Union of Students Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans campaign.
We know what it's like to be too gay for straight people, and too straight for L&G groups. This is a community where we can discuss ways of fighting biphobia, promoting bi visibility, and sharing ideas for use in all of our student unions and regions to promote awareness of and education of issues that affect us.
For clarity, this is a UK group, so our work is unlikely to be relevant if you are living and studying in the USA or elsewhere outside Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
There is a newish guidebook to bi inclusion in your LGBT society that is available somewhere on the NUS national website. I think it came out about a year
having just arrived in nottingham, the name of Bethan and 2005 NUS conference is still being lauded some 4 years later in the womens groups. Yo Bethan :)
