Bellingham Cultural Creatives is a group of folks who live in the Bellingham (Quotqom) area of Washington State (Cascadia). We are concerned about the state of the world. We are interested in supporting each other and sharing knowledge that might help us to change ourselves and society to exist more sustainably. Subjects we might talk about include anthropology, world issues, intentional communities, deschooling, oppressions (sexism, militarism, etc) mass media criticism, simple living/voluntary simplicity, meaningful employment, appropriate technology, activism...etc.

Our group originally came together because we were all moved by the ideas in the books by Daniel Quinn. We have since broadened our scope. We call ourselves Cultural Creatives because we understand that we share values with millions of others like us throughout the world.
