Celebrating 50 years. Pictured here are 14 men who gathered at City Hall on an April Monday in 2006. Each represented his entrance year as a student at the Bermuda Technical Institute (BTI) and they together cover the entire time the school existed. Note that one of the years is represented by two graduates. The BTI first opened its doors on September 6, 1956 with over 80 boys, which means that the Tech students observed their 50th anniversary in 2006.

Approximately 600 young men passed through the school between 1956 and 1968, when BTI began evolving into what is now the Bermuda College.
