This Chat Cafe is intended to be a Sister Group to the Bendigo Freecycle™ Group, as well as any other surrounding groups.

This is where members of local Freecycle groups can have a friendly chat among like-minded people. Please keep it polite and free of political debates, religious debates, or topics not appropriate for all ages.

Please post any "offer" or "wanted" messages for free items with your local Freecycle Group.

In the cafe you can:

* Share community resources - including "freebies" as well as "nearly free" resources, for example, thrift stores, concerts, fetes or open days.

* Ask for info. If you've got a "How do I?" or a "Where can I find?" sort of question, this is the place to seek answers from helpful members. Want to know if anyone has been to "this dentist or that doctor"? Ask here. Looking for a job? Ask if anyone knows who is hiring.

* Discuss Freecycle - it's many benefits and any shortcomings you find with it, too. Have ideas on how to get out the word on Freecycle? Please post them here.

* Ask for help. Group members can offer you great advice here on all sorts of subjects. All you have to do is ask.

* List your local school, hospital, church, blood bank or volunteer service events and fund raisers. Do you want to volunteer your time or services for a needy cause or a worthwhile fellow member? This is the place. Nonprofit organizations can also seek volunteer help here.

You cannot:

* Post ads for items for sale.

* Post SPAM, this includes "adult" links, offers to fix your credit and all those other dumb spam that bombards us every day.

* Post flaming messages. No rudeness will be tolerated, onlist or offlist.
