look under shira.net for listings of instructors in your state---there may
also be chat groups devoted to your state like there is in mine--- In my

Hello everyone... I joined a couple of days ago but have been busy. I went
to a Folk Festival over the weekend and saw some belly dancers and got
re-interested in learning. I had thought about it years ago but never made
time. I've watched some You Tube videos and contacted an instructor near me.
I would love to take some lessons.

I ordered a waist scarf to make practice more fun. I'm putting together a
costume to wear and have music to dance to. I'm a youthful 54 yrs young and
live in Dayton, Ohio. My 13 yr old granddaughter is learning to belly dance
also.

Just wanted to say hi and thanks for letting me join the group.
