Poets and emcees in the past have included Steve Kramer, Bill McNulty (WUSB), Lisa Cowley, Ahmad Ali (WUSB/WBAI), Laura Pizzini, Kevin Rice, William Rafti and more. We've also featured DJ theDEXorphan, and political speakers Aron "The Pieman" Kay, Mitchel Cohen (WBAI), Susan Blake, Brian O'Haire and others!
Last year's lineup was no exception, as our daytime schedule featured The Electrix, Reckoning, Movement, Jack's Waterfall (with Gary Sellers), Sweet Suzi, Steve Lieberman The Gangsta Rabbi, Katie Pearlman, Free Grass Union, Blind Robbery, BigDaddy & The Bulldogs and many more! Interspersed between some of these were guest speakers Coop Sky Blue (WUSB) and representatives from Long Island Food Not Bombs, Code Pink L.I. and Vets for Peace. Emcees included Bill McNulty, Bobanero and DJ Ev of WUSB Stony Brook, as well as Kevin Ross of WPKN Bridgeport! Then we shared an Acoustic After-Party featuring headliners (Ken "The Rocket") Korb & (Lora) Kendall and poet Billy Capozzi (formerly of Finally Balanced)! Next, in October, we set the tone for 2010 with our best Electric After-Party to date starring an eclectic "mini-festival" lineup of The Forensics (4NZX), Jebus, Camera-Head Shark, The Mishap Brigade and Jesse Pagano & Chris P. Cauley! Topping The Be-In / Solarfest and our Electric After-Party from '09 will be tough, but we'll try our best!
