Bay Area Christian Homeschoolers (BACH) is a not for profit, volunteer, non-denominational Christian support group for homeschooling families mainly in Hillsborough and Pasco counties. We are Christian-based but not Christian-exclusive. Our purpose is to encourage our member families in their homeschooling efforts by providing fellowship, information, socialization and support. We created this group to provide a place for our members to participate in monthly park days, field trips, art & crafts, Book-It, projects, holiday parties, and playground time.

We believe that homeschooling can be a wonderful and fulfilling endeavor but one that often needs the support, encouragement and communication with other like-minded homeschooling families. With this in mind, we request that each member prayerfully consider at least ONE area to volunteer your time and talent during the year. This may include a field trip, project or study.

We also believe that homeschoolers traditionally set a standard for being respectful, courteous and models of good behavior. Therefore, we require that at all times: 1) Parents maintain the good and proper behavior of their child/children. This maintenance should be proactive as well as reactive. 2) Parents are solely responsible for the safety and well being of their child/children during all group activities. We strongly discourage any war or mystical play with or without toy weapons. Should an instance arise where conduct is in question, it should be brought before the Advisory Board for prayerful review and resolution.
