Barefoot Gardener: an organic gardening club in Polk County (Central Florida) mainly for those in this area who want to learn to grow their own fresh seasonal veggies, fruits, nuts & herbs or find where they can obtain it. We begin growing our soil: "First you grow the soil, then the plants will come"

Local, organic farmers & ranchers are joining our ranks. At the Downtown Lakeland Curb Market most Saturday's from 8-2 members can buy & sell their organic wares, thus filling a much-needed niche for available fresh local organic produce, free range eggs, organic grass fed beef, soap, raw milk, etc. Again, check out the website for more info.
