the brains (and hormones) behind the name. mas
kabisado nina philip and nelson ang history nito coz
they created this egroup at sila ang moderators natin
but here's mt two cents worth...

tama ka about bambu... reminiscent of our h.s. days in
st.jo and since our school is famous for its bamboo
organ, a group of testosterone-driven guys who wanted
to keep in touch after h.s and even after college
decided to register an egroup here. the guys wanted a
name with a common denominator -- our high school days
(sometimes it's all we ever talk/reminisce about kapag
nagkitkita). bambu orghee is a pun of the our beloved
bamboo organ. this egroup was created for intellectual
intercourse (hence the orghee) and even taking
nonesense by people who wanted to keep the flame of
friendship burning long after the schools fairs, the
retreats, the linggo ng wika celebrations, the
operettas, the intrams and high school graduation.

so there, melodramatic ba? i hope may sense ang sinabi
ko and nakarelate kayo.
