This group is meant to complement the existing Baka and other Jerusalem Yahoo groups and listserves. It focuses on the neighborhood between Derech Chevron Emek Refaim, Rivka over to where Derech Beit Lechem meets Emek Refaim.

The streets of Baka are mostly named after the 12 tribes of Israel; Asher, Binyamin, Dan, Gad, Yissachar, Yehuda, Levi, Naphtali, Reuven, Shimon, Zevulun, Ephraim, and Menasheh. Other streets include; Derech Chevron, Derech Bet Lechem, Mordechai Hayehudi, Esther HaMalka, Shimshon, Yiftach, Shimshon, Yael, Tzidkiyahu and HaRakevet. Depending upon when the street sign was printed posted, there will be different spellings in English for the above Hebrew names.
