Here is my script that used to work for
winmor.. I think When I moved things around I failed to change a parameter in
some file, that I am forgetting..
Attach 14
Radio 18.1065 USB 1
This worked until I moved my pactor port
from port 9 to 10…

Been awhile since I tinkered with rig control, but I
think you need to specify a port number between RADIO and 18.1065 ?
Maybe try:
Radio 18.1065 USB 1
It might be case sensitive too???

I've also noticed some odd quirks if you don't have your BPQ port numbers in
sequence or skip a port number. The later can leave you with RMS Packet beacons
coming out on unexpected ports "below" the one you've correctly specified in it.
Believe that one to be an RMS Packet bug and not within BPQ32.

Ok this is unrelated to the last...
I used to run Winmor thru the mic jack.. and Pactor thru the 13 pin acc
Now I have Winmor hooked up thru the 6 Pin Din..
Winmor works manually if I type att 14 and c callsign and initiate now radio
control.
My Questions is..
The Icom must be in Digital Mode.. A D on the display next to the usb or lsb
indicator.
Is there a way in rig control to specify this so that ports that do not need
to be wont and those that do are???
Thanks Jerry
Also what should the filter settings be for Winmor and Pactor ........

I'm a Yaesu guy, so I'm not real sure how Icom does the data mode offsets.
See if it only happens in Data/Digital mode. If so, then the programmed "center
freq" offset for data mode may be off or I guess you could use it to compensate?

Ok I get one thing working and working well.. and now something else goes to
crap...
Ok HF packet is working with the KAM.. I am not going to use MFJ tNcs on
this setup.. So that problem is solved.
I rearranged all ports so they were in order....
New problems..
Can not TX in WINMOR from BPQMAIL forwarding session because the rig control
is too slow to respond.
Pactor forwarding from BPQ32 mail chat works once then no more.. Again
because Rigcontrol is so slow it takes a few minutes to reflect a change in
freq from the radio...
Must be something I changed in the configuration.. Thought I had it all
covered..
This stuff should not be this difficult... UGH..
Anyway Up on HF down on PACTOR and WINMOR until I either have more time or
someone can help..

On 40 meters there is a new "NET40" general usage packet network on 7.0865 USB
(dial). I think this is a somewhat new network?? Or it's just new to me ;-)
Looks to be a 40m version of the 20m NET105 hangout on 14.105 LSB (dial).
Several stations/nodes/mailboxes on there in W. Texas, Kansas, and maybe
Oklahoma. Strikes me as an interesting approach to get more local/regional
packet coverage than on the 20m frequency.

I'm not sure if it is the same net, but there has been a 40m Packet net with stations from north Texas and most of Oklahoma for better than 20 years, now.
