Description

An association of recreational sailors from or near the Black Hills of South Dakota.
The association itself is open to anyone with an interest in sailing. This Yahoo group is open to association members and to those who are considering association membership. Our boats range from tiny Sunfish thru Hobie catamarans to 28 foot monohulled cabin boats and trimarans.
Most of our boats are normally based (slipped) on Angustora Reservoir, just South of the Black Hills, on the Cheyenne River. That said, this year due to the low water at the beginning of the season some have taken their boats to the Missouri River. We race, we party, we hold sailing classes, we take trailer trips, and we just generally enjoy sailing and the company of other sailors.

The association currently has about 50 some members and I think about 28 boats.

New members' posts and files are moderated until I or one of the other moderators knows who's post it is by comparing e-dresses with the club list or by other means. Paid up members of the BHSA will be released from "moderated" status as soon as their identity is known.
