This group was formed in late April of 2010 for anyone that loves Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery (hand embroidery usually done with rayon flosses that is sometimes just called BE or BDE. This is a gorgeous form of embroidery that produces beautiful dimensional flowers and other creations that have terrific sheen. This is an on-line chapter of the BDEIG (Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery International Guild)....especially for those members that do not live close enough to attend a local chapter, but is also open to anyone that wants to learn more about this beautiful form of hand embroidery.

It is our goal to have various learning opportunities available throughout the year; in the form of projects, challenges, contests, sharing knowledge and original patterns (copyrights are reserved and need to be respected), sources of supplies, etc. We encourage show and tell and hope to build a gallery of members' finished projects for "eye candy".

If you would like to join our group, please send a request for membership. Include your full name & your yahoo site name, where you live, and a little about why you would like to join. We hope you will be patient as our group evolves and you will become an active member of the group and join the BDEIG, too, at some point....if you aren't already a member.
