1. The only calculator models that will be allowed in final exam
session for all ENCS undergraduate courses are:
Sharp EL-531
Casio FX-300MS.
Both of these models are inexpensive and can be purchased from the
Concordia University Bookstore or from commercial outlets.
The calculators need to have an authorized sticker on them. If the
calculator is purchased from the bookstore, then if the students ask
at the time of purchase, the bookstore will open the package and put
a sticker on the calculator.
If the student has the right calculator, but does not yet have a
sticker they can obtain a sticker by going to EV02.227.
2. Students must not have a cell phone or other electronic device on
their person or anywhere in their work area during a final exam --
The only exception is the authorized, stickered calculators.
Note that turning off your cell phone, but having it on your person
is not ok. If discovered it will likely result in the student being
charged. The Exams office is likely to be quite strict with regard to
cell phones this December.
3. All assignments, labs, reports, software handed in for evaluation
in undergraduate courses should be accompanied by an "Expectations of
Originality Form". These can be found at
