Description

This discussion list is for people studying the black box software testing course at http://www.testingeducation.org/BBST

This list is moderated. Yahoogroups lists Cem Kaner as the moderator. It may be moderated by a team of volunteers to keep the workload reasonable.

We reserve the right to reject any message for any reason.

We cannot read every message. We cannot guarantee to check all messages for appropriateness, courtesy, or accuracy. You are responsible for the content of your messages.

Members of the list are busy people, with no time for irrelevant email. To preserve the value of the list, we have some guidelines:

1. This list is associated with a specific course. Discussion of the issues RAISED IN THE COURSE is welcome. Several OTHER lists (but not this one) offer general discussions of testing.

2. We cherish intelligent debate, including statements that flatly disagree with our views.

3. Before you ask a question, PLEASE try to find the information yourself. When you do pose your question, TELL US WHAT YOU FOUND IN YOUR SEARCH. Learning how to find information yourself is a key skill that you must learn to be an effective tester.

4. This is not an appropriate list for job announcements or messages seeking jobs.

5. Commercial messages (advertisements, etc.) are unwelcome. A person who posts a commercial message may be dropped from the list.

6. We will not knowingly approve messages that violate someone else's copyright.

7. Do not post a document unless you are the author AND you have the right to post it.

8. We may or may not approve announcements of conferences, workshops or courses. This is solely in our discretion. We do not welcome multiple announcements of the same meeting or course.

9. This is a free service. We don't have the time or the patience to argue with people about what messages we do or don't approve. There are plenty of other lists. If you don't like how we moderate the list, please, join another one.
