BAUPS (Birmingham Area Unschooling Parents) is open to all Birmingham (Alabama) area homeschooling parents. Most of our members are relaxed homeschoolers or unschoolers, but all are welcome. Our focus is support and planning of activities. We are tolerant of all religion and request that new members keep that in mind when joining.
Spam is not allowed. That means mass forwards and items that have nothing to do with homeschooling. When in doubt, contact the moderator and ask prior to posting.
Members may post info on their (or immediate family members) businesses, hobbies or moneymaking ventures (including e-bay and other auction listings) on the weekends. Please restrict these posts to Saturday and/or Sunday only and denote these ads by
beginning your Subject line with the words "AD Day:"
All new members will be on moderated status until they 1) introduce themselves to the group or 2) send a private e-mail of intro to the moderator. This helps keep our list clean of spammers.
