Azalea Hollow is a the web site of Doll artist Mark Middendorf. Mark creates his own patterns to craft these wonderfully unique and lovely cloth dolls.

This group is designed to allow Azalea Hollow Cloth doll collectors to converse with each other, and directly with the artist Mark Middendorf.

This is a great place to ask questions, find friends with common interests, get updates on Azalea Hollow events, dolls, patterns and more! We also encourage you to share your photos of your dolls created from the Azalea Hollow patterns with your fellow collectors.

Official Azalea Hollow Collector Members will receive updates through this group on creation of new dolls as well as new patterns.

Mark has a Fashion Design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Mark has been collecting dolls since the early eighties. In the nineties Mark started creating fashions full time on various Fashion dolls such as Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Gene, Tonner dolls and others. Finally in early 2007, Mark decided it was time to create his own doll and wanted it to be out of cloth. So over the next 2 years, he finally created the first Azalea Hollow Cloth doll. In 2009 Mark's pattern finally became available and he started teaching his pattern in classes to various students. Mark's dolls and patterns have been sold all over the world. Mark is assisted by me, Philip, since 1997.
