WELCOME! This is the official chat and discussion board for the Realms of Avalon! Avalon is a non-profit 501c3 educational organization!

Our shared goal is to encourage the learning of historical skills and topics. We have two goals-- historical re-creation, and production of educational materials. We re-creating many of the fun activities of history from science and living skills, combat and trade, to fun and games!

We also like to take all that we learned make it available to the communities and schools by demonstration, print, or recorded media.

Realms of Avalon Re-creation is currently in the playtest stage, with Manuals and forms being written and released. They will be formally adopted by members after playtest, feedback, and voting. Download at the web site:

Discussion of these topics as well as chat etc among members or prospective members are welcome on all Realms of Avalon related boards!

All should feel free and open to post polite ideas and opinions here, no matter if they are agreeing or disagreeing.

(now for small print on official stuff :) 99.9% of you all can ignore this!) To ensure that there is a free open and polite environment to post in, however, there are some posting guidelines. All posts must be in accordance to professional standards of polite conduct. In otherwords, don't post SPAM, don't get personal in debate about issues, and just generally be civil. Also, don't post spam (however, do mention your own related crafts and wares for trade)
