Hello Fellow Devotees of Truth,

Daring to Live an Authentic Life is a Yahoo! group formed to support the growth and work of a group by the same name that has been meeting in the San Jose, California area for two years or so. It's a spiritual study and support group for people who have discovered and expressed a primary purpose to awaken to the truth of their inner nature, and to live in congruance with this awakening.

In the last several months, the group has mainly studied some interesting and masterful books on awakening to the truth of our inner nature, including Loving What Is by Byron Katie, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle and our current book, Emptiness Dancing by local non-dual teacher Adyashanti. We have just finished several discussions on the future of this group, and working on some revisions to the very fine group agreements that were originally composed by Evelyn and Don, which I am posting in their original form to the group messages where you can see them, if you're not familiar with them.

We meet on Sunday evenings in San Jose, please feel free to join us if you feel so inclined. We have composed and revised a set of group agreements we ask all members and visitors to accept as a condition of joining in. They're posted in our group messages, and current versions will always be available in our file area and through html links here.

As we go on, recommendations for reading, self-development ideas, and events will be able to be posted here, and we hope to maintain important ideas and recommendations where they'll be easily available, as well as a calendar of activities.
