This group is to bring together people in Australia who are interested in Ceremonial Magick.

The group will focus on Ceremonial Magick and such traditions, systems and practices as: the Golden Dawn, the Ogdoadic system, various Thelemic Orders, Maat magick, Hermetic traditions, Kabbalah, Qaballa and Qabalah, Talismanic magick, Goetic evocation, grimoire-based magick, Enochian magick, other Western Esoteric Traditions, general occult studies, Freemasonry, Chaos Magick, Tantra, general ritual magick, and the magical practices of specific cultures such as Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc.

The group will centre on these subjects; it is not intended as a discussion forum for Wicca, neo-wicca or neo-paganisms other than where these systems may overlap into magickal work. Nor is this a swap meet for spells or a hang out for members of various fandoms to play at magick. There are already plenty of places to engage in those sorts of activities and we'd like to keep this space reserved for contructive, focused discussion.

Heated discussions are fine, but let's be adults and not get personal-- such people will be moderated if they start flaming. At the same time, remember this is just the internet; if you are getting too upset, walk away. This is an imperfect medium and often the tone of a post is misinterpreted, so let logic and rationality and good taste be your guide.

With this in mind, all members of the Ceremonial Magick community are welcome.
