Description
This is the communication forum for the on-going events relating to the global extreme poverty issues, specifically: canceling debt, preventing AIDS, creating trade justice and addressing the African emergency. Through activism relating to the 2005 G8 Summit, Live8, WTO meetings, UN meetings, world AIDS day and so on, we are campaigning simply to make poverty history in our generation. Use this group to start an event, ask for help, see what's going on, keep up-to-date and just share info on how we in Austin can continue to take action to end extreme poverty by 2025.
Fall 2007: We now also have a Facebook page for more of an interactive experience to help us with collaborating on events etc. |
