The Austin Bead Society was formed in October, 1990. The objectives of the Society are to promote education and research regarding beads and bead-related subjects, and to provide support to bead collectors, designers, and enthusiasts.

The purpose of this group is to provide a place for ABS members to communicate with each other and share their jewelry making enthusiasm and information. While the group is restricted to current members, the society always welcomes new members. If you are interested in becoming a member, you can visit our website for a member application form and instructions or come to one of our monthly meetings to check us out.
