This forum was previously our main discussion forum, but now is being converted to a group dedicated to the discussion of visual sampling, copyrights, licensing, and trading VJ loops, clips, computer animation, and related source material. Anyone who has contributed to, or/and received material from the AudioVisualizers VJ Loop CDR Exchange Archive or FTP, or is interested in doing so in the future, or is interested in discussing the ramifications of sampling, and related issues should join this group. DJ's mainly play other people's music, but VJ's largely create their own work, which can be very time consuming, especially when performing at an all night party. Therefore it makes sense to share work with other visual artists that don't directly compete in your market area, to have a good bank of appropriate material to pull from and integrate with your own work.
