Description
The Atlanta Julian Meeting (formerly the Atlanta Christian Mysticism Meetup) is an ecumenical group dedicated to silent/contemplative prayer and the study of Julian of Norwich and other Christian mystics and their writings.
Our meetings are currently scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 pm at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip, in Atlanta (Buckhead); specific details about meetings will be posted on this list.
Our group is open to all Christians regardless of church affiliation (if any), as well as to interested non-Christians. We respect each person's religious identity and recognize that we can all find our faith nourished by spiritual traditions outside our own.
Our goal (both through our meetings and via this email list) is to create a safe space where we are free to nurture our inner lives, where diversity is respected, and hopefully, where friendships are forged.
