Welcome to the Atlanta Astronomical Imaging Group, a meeting place for new and accomplished astro-imagers in the Atlanta area and home of the Atlanta Astronomy Club's Atlanta Astronomical Imagers group.

The mission of this group is to expand the knowledge of our members, most specifically in the area of astro-image acquisition and astro-image processing techniques.

Members are encouraged to post images of their work and to discuss the processes used to create their images. All imaging techniques are welcome including - CCD cameras, such as those from SBIG, Starlight Xpress, etc. - Digital/Film cameras from Nikon, Canon, Olympus, etc. - Video Astronomy using unconventional electronic imaging devices such as webcams and video surveillance cameras.
