Hello! This is the Athens, OH Freecycle(TM)!

In this group, the old cliche rings true - "one person's 'trash' is someone else's treasure."

List items you'd like to get rid of with the heading "OFFER," things you'd like with "WANTED," and things that have been spoken for with "TAKEN." It's easiest on everyone if item descriptions are listed in the subject line of the message.
for example: "Offer: TV and Couch" or
"Wanted: Rottweiler Puppy" or
"Taken: Tomato Cages"
Messages will be moderated, just to cut down on spam for the rest of the group.

Other reminders:
1) NO POLITICS & NO SPAM. Two strikes and you are OUT.
2) NO RECEIVING ITEMS FROM THIS GROUP WITH INTENT TO SELL ELSEWHERE, unless email states your intentions.
3) CAN WE USE FREECYCLE TO FINDNEW HOMES FOR PETS? Yes, but keep it legal and be very careful.
4) KEEP IT FREE.
5) NO TRADING PLEASE.
6) PICK UP. Arrange as you like, generally the 1st to respond, 1st to receive.
7) SEND RESPONSES ONLY TO OFFERER . It keeps the # of emails to the group down.
8) LIMIT WANTED POSTINGS TO 2 PER PERSON PER WEEK. You may however put like items in one post.
9) BE KIND AND RESPECT OUR MODERATORS. They all volunteer their time to keep this list running smoothly.
