Whether you're looking to OFFER or SEEK an item, the NON-PROFIT, ALWAYS FREE AFN is the place to do it...furniture, clothes, appliances, computers, toys, a pile of dirt, plants, books, used moving boxes, and all things in between. Our goal is to reduce waste by connecting people who would otherwise throw away unwanted items with others seeking those same items.

No item is too big or too small; but since this is a FREEuse list, ALL items must be 100% free.

TO START:

(1) Join the AFN group (Really simple.);

(2) Then check your email* (or read the "Messages" here) to see what your fellow members want to give away or seek; or

(3) Click on "Post" to offer something you would maybe otherwise throw away (just follow the simple Guidelines that we send you when you join and that you can access via the "Files" link).

*RECOMMENDATION: If you do not want every post in your inbox, set your preferences to DAILY DIGEST for one email a day with all of that day's posts.

Once you join, a Welcome email plus one containing etiquette, guidelines and suggestions will be sent to you...these are very important. Please take time to read through these messages prior to participating.
