Asheville Freecycle(TM) provides individuals and non-profits in the Asheville, NC area an electronic forum to "recycle" unwanted items. One person's trash can truly be another's treasure! Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano, or an old door to be given away, it can be posted on the network. Or, maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself? Respond to the posting directly and you just might get it. After that it is up to the giver to set up a pickup time for passing on the treasure.

One constraint:EVERYTHING posted must be for FREE TANGIBLE ITEMS. NO OFFERS TO SELL OR BUY, BORROWING, BARTERING or TRADING.

Please include the proper heading in the subject line along with the item(s) being listed in all message posts.

A short questionaire is sent to everyone that wants to join. Please make sure you return it asap so we can approve your membership

All members must at least get special notices so as to get Admin. info from owners/moderators. Noone is allowed to go "NO MAIL" or they will be removed from the group!

The Freecycle Network is open to all cities and to all individuals who want to participate. Freecycle groups are run by local volunteer moderators from across the globe who facilitate each local group - Grassroots at its best!
