This list is for fiction writers who want to develop their skills and exchange works and ideas. Story fragments, short stories, and serialized novels are welcome. So are constructive critiques. Flaming and aggressive criticism are not welcome.
Mainstream, SF, Fantasy, Historical, and Mystery genres are welcome. Erotic scenes are acceptable if they advance the story, and are tastefully and well done. (If you choose to include erotic content, please label the story appropriately at the beginning. Since erotic content is allowed, this list is intended for adults only.) Child/animal porn is absolutely forbidden. This list is not for fan fiction using characters from TV, movies, or the media. This is not an RPG list -- serious story writing only. No poetry (lots of other good lists for that). Please DO NOT send collections of pithy quotes, however wise.

Each member will be expected to occasionally post some writing (original work ONLY!) for review. No specific minimums or requirements.
If you have trouble with spelling, please at least use a spell checker before submitting a work.
You don't need to aspire to publication to join, but you may simply want to improve your craft. If you have been published, all the better -- lend us your knowledge!
