Description

Citizens for Approval Voting is a non-profit group dedicated to the enactment of legislation mandating Approval Voting for single member district elective offices. This simple means that you can vote for any number of candidates who are running for a given office. For example, if Tinkers, Evans and Chance are all candidates for Mayor, Approval Voting would allow a voter to vote for both Tinkers and Evans, but not Chance, if he or she so desires.

Approval Voting is simple, but has huge positive benefits for elections with three or more candidates for office. This group discusses the benefits and fine points of Approval Voting as well as specific efforts to enact legislation mandating Approval Voting.
