The Apollo Beach Area Homeschoolers group has been created in an effort to enhance the lives of our homeschooled children and provide support for their parents and caregivers. By offering our children shared learning experiences to supporting parents by sharing ideas, friendship and advice, this group’s mission is to assist in the homeschooling experience of homeschooling families.
Current meeting ideas include fieldtrips, sports day, park play-dates, book of the month club, nature walks, movies, Wii play, a cooking class for kids, picnics, swim-dates at the pool or beach and numerous learning activities.
All homeschooling styles are welcome to join us. This is an ever evolving group that will change to meet the needs of our children as they grow. From newborns to grandparents, all children and their parents are welcome. Please note that this is a secular group. We plan to keep this group relatively small in order to best fulfill the needs of the children and their families.
