Animism is an ancient and sacred religious philosophy which teaches that a spirit or divinity resides within every individual object and being, and on a higher level, permeates collectively everything in existence, controlling and influencing, among other things, human life and events in the natural world.

Animism is the foundation of all Pagan religion and has been considered the earliest form of human religion on planet Earth. As such, it is a way of better understanding and appreciating your own particular Pagan path, whatever it may be.
