Dearest colleagues,

It is with the deepest sadness that I am passing on the news I received
today regarding Mikiko. Her daughter just came to my office to let me
know that Mikiko passed away last Thursday, September 27 at her home.

We have lost another dear colleague, (Kevin was the first one to go
since I have been hired), and she will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a Buddhist Memorial Service on Sunday, October 7 at 1:00
in San Marcos. I am planning on attending, and I hope that many of you
will be able to join Mikiko's Memorial. The location information is
attached to my message.

At this this, it is unknown when the club meetings will return. Our
president is no longer a student and my attending last fall's recognition
meeting did not satisfy the powers that be. The club is on probation until
we have both the president and the treasurer attend the spring recognition
training. It is determined that club will be on hiatus this semester
unless something happens.

straight out of Japan. We will start the anime showing around 5:30ish
and until then we can puruse the allotment of web cartoons, i.e.
Strongbad emails or newgrounds. This week we will decide on whether or
not we continue a few series for the rest of the semeseter. As always
you are welcome to bring any anime you would like to show the club.

Hey all, I'll be attending club tonight after a while of not being able to
go, like 2 years maybe, I'm in the navy now, and I just got back from a
wespac. if you couldnt already tell, Its Minako, aka Jackie. I was friends
with John and Nuriko and Maiko and Brandon and such. so yeah ^_^ I was
wondering who's all going to be there tonight. And if anyone'll remember me.

Yahoo groups did it again. I posted a notice Thursday morning about
cancelling club yesterday (sept 29), but it never got circulated. The
message doesn't even look like it every existed. My apologies to those
who showed up and thank you Allen for letting me know that he message
did not get sent. As for next week, the meeting is still on. If there
is any particular show you are interested in seeing, let me know and I
will try my best to locate it.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the delay this semester, but we finally got a room for our
weekly meetings. The meetings will be in the same room as it was last
semester, UH100. We have moved the beginning of the meeting to 5pm,
but you are welcome to come before then. Most likely I will be in the
room early to setup. As always you are welcome to bring anything you
want the group to see. Now I just need to make some type of flyer to
post all over campus.
