The Ancient Order of Mithras is a Secret Society for adepts of the Maiden of Light Temple. This is a Secret Society for men, as the Society of the Goddess is the women's secret society of the Mistress of the Earth Temple of Love. The Secret Society of Mithras permits our adepts to continue their worship of our Lord Lucifer, our Messiah Mary Magdalena, and our Pantheon of Goddesses, within the male context of the God Mithras. All men are welcome to join.

The Cult of Mithras was a men's Pagan religious group that established Temples for men to worship the God Mithras. In these Temples men held secret rituals and ceremonies. The ancient origins of Mithras are in India about 1600 BC, it was native in Persian Iranian Pagan belief. Mithras was popular with men in Greece, Rome, north to Britain, and Germany. The Cult of Mithras was common among the Roman Army, traders, merchants, and working men. For 300 years Mithras was worshipped by the Roman Emperors.
