There's nothing like having friends like Amish & Mennonite neighbors to give the term "A roll in the hay" some real meaning for guys growing up in Amish country. Some of most solid guys I call "friends" are from those parts & what I know for sure is that human nature is the same where-ever you go. I also know that these guys often endure tremendous guilt-trips about their M2M feelings. I know 1st-hand why -because I lived it myself. I found the answers several years ago when the g0ys men's movement leveraged the Internet. Finally, answers that didn't ask me to water down my faith (quite the contrary)!
What the g0ys movement did was show me how a handful of Scriptures had been twisted in translation. What is actually a prohibition against AnalSex, & male-prostitution, -was lawlessly blunted into an edict against male/male intimacy. Once you look at the common-sense evidence at the g0ys website -the epiphany is amazing! Life-changing! Liberating! Faith building!
There were a few guys I had for neighbors growing up who'd get together with me on weekends & vacations in an enclosed loft in one of the barns - usually after a swim in the river. Often, wrestling would set the stage for the clothes coming back off, & things would slow down; -Get really gentle cuddling face2face, rod2rod until we emptied the tension we'd coaxed to a peak in each others crotches. Always totally respectful, -never debasing nor effeminizing. Usually the 1st few times had a concern that the other guy may tell tale of the deed; -Or the self flagellation that went with a religious belief about so-called "homo" fears. Ethical men don't ignore their cultural ethical teachings in the name of pleasure.
The "gay" community does nothing to address genuine moral concerns. This is why the g0ys movement is so important. It's an ethical alternative to "gay" callousness. See, I still love my farmer-boyhood friends & because it's really love; -I want to show 'em my discovery too!
