An Italian Culture appreciation and preservation group formed 1996 by a few couples in Burlington County, NJ. Presently (July 2006) some 500 members. "Una Serata Italiana" (Dinner/meeting/program) held on LAST Tuesday of each Month at Lamberti's MODO Milano on Rt.38, Mt.Holly, NJ (September thru June).
After years of involvement with this club I am no longer associated with the organization, but I continue this site which I personally created in 2000 for dissemination of cultural and heritage information of interest to the many people who subscribed to this site.
If you are interested in the Amici Club you may go to the new site

Feel free to go to the LINKS section (left side) where you will find BOOKMARKS to picture sites of many of previous EVENTS. At Scampagnata 2003 Italian House Party Radio Show Host Don Giovanni was our special guest as we enjoyed a very large Porchetta. In 2005 we entertained the Musumeci family at Scampagnata (Picnic).
On October 27, 2002 we were thrilled to present a public event we called "UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH LIDIA BASTIANICH" and it was a great success. We enjoyed Lidia's company all day and then we put her in a stretch LIMO to return to her home.
On May 23, 2004 another milestone with our 2004 PRIMAVERA MUSICALE EXTRAVAGANZA (Spring Benefit Concert) with almost 700 attending to see eight great acts of Italian Culture through music. This event was MC'd by the great "Uncle Floyd" (Vivino) with brilliance and hilarious Italian oriented comedy.
On October 30, 2005 Amici presented "Concerto Italiano" a Fall Benefit Concert. Acts included Tenor Frank Tenaglia, a Sinatra Impersonator, I Paesani folklore troupe and "Uncle Floyd" Vivino.
