This group is to help American military folks (and civilians working with the military) who are married to Russians (and other Former Soviet areas) get together, make connections, discuss issues, and have a sense of community. Also, another primary goal is to bring the spouses together, let them share experiences, and form friendships. This group is designed to foster the exchange of information, create friendships, and help each other. Our situation is a bit different than the average military marriage (but they are all a bit different). This group will be lightly moderated, nothing disrespectful will be tolerated. This group is for couples and those in the military and involved with Russians.Please post a small bio and where you are currently stationed. The goal is to help each other out, speed and ease the transitions from one culture to the other, while not forgetting the original culture.
