"Amerikan Turks" is a reversal of the traditional "Turkish Americans" label which has been in use for generations. What distinguishes an Amerikan Turk? More than anything else, it is a Turk with a strong command of the English language. If this describes you there is little doubt that you should count yourself among us.

Amerikan Turks Yahoo Group is here to bring Turkish bloggers together in a venue which delivers the best content, encourages interaction, elicits comments, and addresses the current events and issues which concern us.

Our goal is to create an online community of Turkish bloggers and their readers, who are interested in receiving a daily composite of recent contributions. This group has been created so that English speaking Turkish bloggers can register and can forward copies of any or all of their blog entries. This serves to facilitate the communication and networking of the Turkish blogging community.

Select blog entries are also transmited to numerous other Yahoo Groups, giving our authors the widest possible exposure.
